Schulz, Lorraine Carol (19 APR 1969)

Lorraine Carol Schulz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Schulz of Colby, and Daniel Errin Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Errin Fischer, exchanged vows of marriage, Saturday, April 19, 1969 at the First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth Dix performed the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Perry Schulz. Mrs. Allen Duvall sang and she was accompanied by Mrs. Strathman.

The bride wore a white gown of Chantilly accented by pearls at the neckline. The elbow length veil was held by a small crown of aurora crystal. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.

The maid of honor was Miss Arlene Schulz, Colby, and the bridesmaid was Mrs. Russell (Judy) Palmerton of Unity.

The attendants wore dresses of white lace over pink with a pink bow at the back. Pink daisy crowns held the short veils. They carried pink carnations.

The best man was Clifford Schulz of Colby and the groomsman was Russell Palmerton of Unity. The ushers were Dean Loos and Lawrence Schulz of Colby.

Festivities of the day included a supper at the church basement at 4 p.m., followed by a reception and dance at Cherokee Hall.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Colby High School, and the groom is a 1961 graduate of Colby High School.

The couple plans to reside on a farm in rural Unity.
