Goeser, Rebecca “Beccy” M.

STOCKBRIDGE – Rebecca “Beccy” M. Goeser, 89, died Friday night, Oct. 14, 2005, at Cherry Meadows Hospice Center in Appleton.

She was born July 3, 1916, in Montfort to Robert D. and Gena (Helgeson) Haines. She was married to Alex J. Goeser on Oct. 5, 1950 at Our Lady of Peace Church in Marshfield. They recently celebrated 55 wonderful years together.

She attended schools in Clark County, graduating from Neillsville High School in 1934. She graduated from Neillsville teacher’s training in 1935, and obtained her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. As a teacher for 30 years, she taught in elementary schools in Clark County, Appleton, Stockbridge and Chilton.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Alex; her children, Gail (Robert) Piotrowski, Wausau, Daniel Goeser, Rexford, Mont., Joan (Tom) Frey, Boise, Idho., Richard Goeser, Stockbridge; her grandchildren, Alex Piotrowski, Lily Frey, Ben Frey and Mandy Sue Goeser; siblings, Francis Haines, Marshfield, Ella Gardner, Marshfield, Glenn Haines, Sparta, Anna Liebzeit, Willard, and Gene Haines, Sioux Falls, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services will be held. Memorial in Beccy’s name can be made to The Society for the Propagation of the Faith or to a hospice organization.
