Miss Kristine J. Knack carried a cascade of white Majestic daisies with baby’s breath and sprengi fern as her parents presented her in marriage to Edward C. Noeldner at St. Antony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, on Saturday, July 13. The Rev. Chester Osowski officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Knack, Loyal, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Noeldner also of Loyal.

The bride appeared in a white A-line gown of lace over satin styled with long, lace sleeves and a net and lace bustle.

Miss Claudia Krumheuer, Marinette, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Bonnie Schober of Madison, Mrs. Kris Weis of Colby and Miss Patti Firnstahl and Miss Barb Knack of Loyal. Their knit A-line gowns in rainbow hues were tied in back and featured embroidered bodice trim. They carried white wicker baskets filled with miniature carnations and daisy carnations in rainbow colors accented with purple statice.

The groom was attended by Gordon Noeldner, Loyal, as bestman and by Steve Rogstad of Loyal, Bert Schultz of Green Bay and Lee Smith and Randy Noeldner of Loyal as groomsmen. Michael Hug, Loyal, and John Weis, Colby, were the ushers.

Special music was provided by a brass quintet from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Greenwood, who sand “The Lord’s Prayer.”

A dinner at the church hall was followed by a reception and dance at The Sword, Colby.

The bride was honored at prenuptial showers hostessed by Mrs. Nathan Noeldner and Mrs. James Becker of Loyal and by her bridal attendants.

A rehearsal party was given by the couple’s parents.

The newlyweds are both 1970 graduates of Loyal High School. The bride is also a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her husband graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute, Green Bay, in 1973 and is employed as a draftsman in the engineering department of an Appleton firm.
