Anderson, Bonnie Mae (3 DEC 1966)

Residing in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) are Mr. and Mrs. Nick Laurence Matkovich, who were married at 12 o’clock noon Saturday, December 3, 1966, by the Rev. Wm. Y. Nikolai in Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard.

The former Miss Bonnie Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Anderson, Owen, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matkovich, Willard. The children’s choir sang.

The bride wore a full length white A-line velvet dress and a veiled petalled headpiece. Her flowers were gold and bronze chrysanthemums.

Mrs. Donald Kirn, Willard, the matron of honor, and Mrs. Roman Marek, Mosinee, and Mrs. Norman Anderson, Withee, the bride matrons were seen in velvet formals, Mrs. Kirn in gold and the bride matrons in green. The flowers they carried were bronze and gold chrysanthemums.

Donald Kirn, Willard, was best man. Groomsmen were William Telford, Milwaukee and Norman Anderson, Withee, and uhsers were Roman Marek, Mosinee and Jack Liebke of Minneapolis, Minn.

A reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Owen.

The new Mrs. Matkovich graduated in 1963 from Owen-Withee High School and her husband, who attended Greenwood High School, is a driver for Hansen Trucking, Withee. Mrs. Matkovich has been employed by Honeywell of Minneapolis.

Guests came from Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Stanley, Boyd, Greenwood, Neillsville, Owen and Withee.
