Englebretson, Yvette Marie (19 JUN 1971)

The Rev. Conrad Mickelson performed the 1 p.m. marriage ceremony Saturday, June 19, 1971 in the United Methodist Church at Loyal, where Miss Yvette Marie Englebretson, daughter of Mr. and Clayton Englebretson, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to Jesse Francis Zvolena, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zvolena, route 2, Loyal.

Michael Tucker, cousin of the bride, was organist, and Sandy, Sue and Connie Smith sang.

The bride chose an empire A-line white satin, lace and organdy gown, and a floor length veil secured to a headpiece of miniature carnations and stephanotis. Her cascade bouquet consisted of Phalaenopsis orchids, miniature carnations and stephanotis.

Miss Connie Englebretson, Loyal, served as maid of honor, and Miss Ellen Hain, Rochester, Minnesota and Mrs. Dean Schweiger, Granton, were bridesmaids.

They carried colonial baskets of daisies and wore empire rib-knit formals, Miss Englebretson in yellow, and the bridesmaids in orange and lime green.

Others in the wedding party were Gene Redlick, Milltown, best man; Mike Zvolena, Loyal, and Dean Schweiger, Granton, groomsmen; and Tim Englebretson and Ted Zvolena, who served as ushers.

The wedding reception at 2 p.m. was followed by dinner at 4:30 p.m., and a dance at 9 p.m. was also held at the Village Plaza at Spencer.

The bride graduated this year from Stout State University, Menomonie, and her husband graduated this year from Wisconsin State University, River Falls. He will be employed as an agriculture teacher.

The couple will be making their home at Verona, following a northern wedding trip.
