Many happy returns of the day to Herman Schultz, on his 86th birthday on Friday. Lottie, his wife, celebrated her 83rd recently, and they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary at their home in Neillsville, where they now reside.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voelker of Marshfield.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Maudie Shortess who passed away last week and was buried on Friday.

Dale Vanderhoof underwent surgery on his back on Thursday. Harvey Mews Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mews Sr., underwent surgery on Saturday due to a car hitting him during the snowstorm, in which both legs were broken. Mrs. William Reinhaimer is also a patient at the Marshfield Hospital.

Mrs. Frank Allar was released from Neillsville Hospital on Tuesday and Melvin Johnson is at home, but weak and unable to work yet.

Former neighbor on 26 Road, Reinte Weis, was in a hospital in southern Wisconsin, was released on Saturday and went home to Oconomowoc in a walker.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Metcalfe were Sunday guests of his grandmother and grandfather, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe.

Mrss. Norbert Griepentrog and son of Spencer visited on Sunday with Mrs. Joe Bymers.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Allar and children visited at the Frank Allar home on Saturday. They live in Racine, where the grass is green.

Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Waldhauser named their new son Charles Robert. He make the 28th grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Redig Sr.

The Sherman caucus was held Monday night at the Sherman Town Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bymers entertained Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz, Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Florey had company Monday evening.
