Emil Luebke and family of Weston spent Sunday with Vet Peace and family.

Misses Alta and Katie Wright entertained the J.B. Club Saturday night. Pies were sold at auction and Ross Root bid one of them in at $4.75.

Chas. H. Campbell of Dundee, Washington, visited here for a few days. He expects to return on Wednesday and take his two children, who have been staying with Mrs. Bliss, back with him.

Alvin Vande Berg and family spent Sunday under the parental roof.

Will Ayers has rented Joe Rondorf’s farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Voigt, who were Married recently, were given a shower last Wednesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merton Davis. A very pleasant evening was had by all those present and the newlyweds received a nice lot of fine gifts.

Horace Lawrence sold his Ford car some time ago and last Saturday came home from Neillsville with a nice new Dodge.

Ernest Rowe and Rondorf Bros. each had auction sales last week. They were well attended and everything sold well under Olson’s hammer.

Emil Schoenfeld and wife visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Voigt.
