Army Private Henry L. Lamovec, 21, whose parents live on route 2, Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), recently completed a 10-week medical corpsman course at the
U.S. Army Medical Training Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.
He learned to perform routine patient care and treatment duties in combat areas,
hospital units, dispensaries, clinics and other medical facilities. He also
received instruction in the transportation of sick and wounded by ground, air
and water means.
Pvt. Lamovec entered the Army in August 1970, and completed basic training at
Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
He attended Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire.
