Kebl, Dorothy Ann (10 AUG 1963)

Three attendants preceded Miss Dorothy Ann Kebl down the aisle of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood for her 10 a.m. marriage to Stanley John Pernic, Saturday, August 10, 1963.

Miss Kebl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kebl, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)(, and Mr. Pernic, Deerfield, Ill., is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Willard.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edward F. Hartung and St. Mary's Girls' Choir sang. The church was decorated with white gladioli.

Attending the bride were Mrs. Ralph Landini, Greenwood, matron of honor, and Miss Laura Hanson, Hixton, and Mrs. Robert Pernic, Highwood, Ill., bridesmaids. They wore street-length sata peau dresses in aqua styled with scoop necklines, fitted bodices and controlled skirt fashioned in an apron effect with flat bows at the front waists.

Their crowns were petal hats which held their bustle veils. Each carried a cascade arrangement of champagne carnations with gold decoration.

The bride entered the church with her father, was attired in a chapel length gown of silk organza over tissue taffeta. The scalloped, scoop neckline accented the fitted, empire Basque bodice which was embellished with appliques, sequins and pearls. The softly scattered appliques, and the back had two cabbage roses to accent the chapel train.

She wore a crown of lace and twisted pearls which held her bouffant veiling, and she carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, also in cascading arrangement.

Attending the groom were Floyd Plautz, Greenwood, best man, and Stanley Pekol and Edward Pernic Jr., Willard, groomsmen.

Ushering the guests who came from Madison, Loyal, Neillsville, Willard, Franklin, Marshfield, West Allis, Shell Lake, Eau Claire, Hixton, Thorp, Lodi, and Abbotsford, and Chicago, Wheeling, Lake Forest, Highwood Park, Palos Hills, Wauconda, Elk Grove Village and Arlington Heights. Ill., and Charleston, S.C., were Frank E. Pekol and John Pernic Jr.

Other wedding day events included a dinner and supper at St. Mary's Hall and a reception at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood.

The bride is a 1958 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1962 graduate of Wisconsin State College at Eau Claire. She was a member of Sigma Pi Kappa Sorority. She is employed by the Wheeling, Ill. school system, where she teaches fourth grade at Walt Whitman School.

The groom attended Greenwood High School and is an electrical engineer at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Following a wedding trip to the western states, the couple will resided at 1043 Elmwood Ave., Deerfield, Ill.
