Miss Joanne Miller is spending two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arno A. Miller of R.R. 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Miss Miller spent several weeks traveling in the East this summer. Some of the highlights of her trip included the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, the Richmond, Petersburg and Fredericksburg areas, Williamsburg, Jamestown, Washington, D.C. and Mount Vernon, Baltimore, Annapolis, and the Naval Academy, the Pennsylvania, Dutch, Amish and Mennonite areas near Lancaster, York Pennsylvania, Gettysburg, New York City and surrounding suburbs, White Mountains in Vernon and New Hampshire, the Maine Coast and Cape Cod, including Hyannis Port and Provincetown. Her favorite spots were Washington, D.C. and Cape Cod.

She also spent several weekend visiting friends in Boston, Mass., and in the Hartford-Wethersfield, Connecticut area.

For six weeks of the summer Miss Miller was enrolled at New York University in New York City, where she di post graduate work in Educational Psychology. While in New York, Miss Miller had the opportunity to attend several conferences and workshops in Business Education, and to become acquainted with weveral of the leaders and authorities in this field.

Miss Miller is a graduate of Greenwood High School, Wisconsin State College, Whitewater, and Colorado State College, Greeley, Colorado. She received her Master's degree from the latter last summer.
