Bergemann, Joan Marie (17 NOV 1962)

Now on a two-week wedding trip to Florida are Mr. and Mrs. Allan Paul Anderson of Milwaukee, who were married there Saturday, November 17, 1962, at St. Albert's Catholic Church.

The bride is the former Miss Joan Marie Bergemann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harland Bergemann of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Mr. and Mrs. Siegfried Anderson are the groom's parents and reside at 2827 N. Pierce St. in Milwaukee.

The Rev. William Hennen officiated at the 11 a.m. High Mass, which was sung by the church choir. Mr. Bergemann gave his daughter in marriage before the altar which had been decorated with large baskets of white Fuji chrysanthemums.

White crystal taffeta styled the bride's gown which was in floor length with full chapel train and deep yoke of Venice lace. The bouffant skirt featured Franch pleats and flowed into extra fullness of un-pressed pleats in the back.

A crown of crystal with dainty pearl droplets held a bouffant veil of imported pure silk illusion and she carried an arrangement of fall flowers.

Bridal aides, Miss Mary Jane Bergemann, Greenwood, maid of honor, and Miss Sally Ann Bergemann, Greenwood, and Miss Joanne Miller, Des Plaines, Ill., the bridesmaids, wore identically styled taffeta sheath dresses.

The full overskirts of the dresses were accented in the back with pouf bows and sash and the fitted bodices had bateau necklines with V-backs. Each aide wore matching accessories and headpieces with face veils and carried floral arrangements of bronze chrysanthemums and yellow roses. The maid of honor's dress was in topaz-gold, and the others in emerald green.

The groom's attendants were all Milwaukee residents. They were Ronald Anderson, the best man, and groomsmen, Jerry Kallas and Richard Kubezak. Ronald Anderson and Richard Bergemann did ushering duties.

A breakfast was served immediately following the church services at the Echo Bowl in Milwaukee, and the 2 o'clock reception and buffet supper at 5:30 p.m. also took place there.

The bride, who has been employed as a private secretary of Milprint Inc., attended St. Mary's School and graduated in 1955 from the Greenwood High School. The groom graduated in 1954 from the Messmer High School in Milwaukee, and is a building contractor.
