Langreck, Mary M. (20 OCT 1962)

The altar of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Greenwood was decorated with white chrysanthemums for the wedding of Miss Mary Margaret Langreck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Langreck, route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Frank Edward Trunkel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Trunkel, Willard.

The Trunkel-Langreck marriage ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Edward Hartung Saturday, October 20, 1962, at 10 a.m., Father Hartung also serving as celebrant for the nuptial High Mass. The girls' choir sang for the wedding.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, selected a floor-length gown of white imported hand clipped Chantilly lace featuring a scalloped Sabrina neckline and a bouffant skirt sweeping into a chapel train.

Her veil of pure silk illusion trimmed with Chantilly lace flowed from a crown of aurora borealis crystals. Red roses and white carnations fashioned the bridal bouquet.

Attending the bride were Miss Josephine Lindner, route 2, Loyal, the maid of honor, and Miss Patricia Langreck, Menomonee Falls, and Miss Janne Trunkel, Chicago, the bridesmaids.

They wore street-length dresses of chiffon over taffeta with taffeta cummerbunds and matching head crowns having small veil. Their flowers were carnations tinted to match their ensembles.

Tony Trunkel, Willard, was best man; Francis Langreck and Frank Arch, both of Greenwood were groomsmen; and Joseph Langrick Marshfield, and William Snedic, Greenwood, were ushers.

The wedding dinner, reception and buffet supper were held at the home of the bride's parents, and that evening there was a wedding dance at Willard.

Following a northern Wisconsin honeymoon, the Trunkels will make their home in St. Paul, Minn., where Mr. Trunkel is a factory worker. Both received their education in Greenwood.
