Lila Schwarze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Schwarze, R. 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), is Greenwood Community High School's recipient of the D.A. R. Good Citizen Award this year. This award is based on the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism, and selection is made by senior students and the high school faculty. Senior girl winners from throughout the state also compete for state good citizen awards in an essay contest.

Lila Schwarze will graduate from high school in May with honors. She has not only been a good student but has also been active in a number of school activities. She is a member of the senior band, the Pepe Band, the school's dance band and chorus. She is on the editorial staff of the school annual and the staff of the school paper. Lila has been active in the Library Club, Drama Club, Science Club and forensics. She wasn't absent or tardy the past two school years.

The D.A.R. Award consists of an engraved certificate, which is presented to the winner at graduation.
