Rasmussen, Ethel J. (10 FEB 1962)

The Rev. Orval Egbert heard the repetition of matrimonial vows by Miss Ethel J. Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rasmussen, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Eugene O. Jeitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Heim, Lake City, Iowa.

The 7:30 o'clock Jeitz-Rasmussen candlelight marriage ceremony was performed Saturday evening, February 10, 1962, in the United Church of Christ at Greewnood. Mr. Rasmussen gave his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. Alvin Alberts was the organist and Mrs. Calvin Awe and Mrs. Orlin Fravert sang "Take His Han." Two all-white altar bouquets were comprised of gladiolas and baby chrysanthemums.

The waltz-length bridal dress made of Chantilly lace and net over taffeta, and the mantilla-type veil, also of Chantilly lace. Carnations and Garnet roses comprised the bridal bouquet.

The bride asked Mrs. Jack Denk, Greenwood, to be her matron of honor, and Miss Anna Carlson, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and Miss Roxanne Hovey, Decorah, Iowa, to be her bridesmaids.

The aides wore red velvet, the bell-shaped skirts being street length, and they carried white muffs. White fur also fashioned their headpieces.

Attending the groom were Duane Heim, Lake City, Iowa, the best man, and Roy Rasmussen, Greenwood, and Rodney Kincade, Rockford, Ill., the groomsmen.

Users were Richard Stock, Minneapolis, Minn., and Ronald Matson, Elk River, Minn.

The wedding reception was held at the Legion Hall at Greenwood. After a wedding trip to San Francisco, California and Portland, Oregon, the newlyweds will reside in Minneapolis, where both are employed by Northwest Airline.

Mrs. Jeitz attended Greenwood High School and Her husband was educated in Lake City, Iowa.

Among the wedding guests who came for the nuptials were Miss Judy Jablonski, New York City, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stewart, Lake City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Donald DeLong and Miss Judy Vought, Rockwell City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Gruber, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Timmler, Mrs. Robert Rogstad, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. John Jeitz and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Boese, Benson, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Miller, Holloway, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. George Heim, Lake City, Iowa, and a number of friends from Minneapolis.
