Schwarze, Eileen (3 SEP 1960)
The Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard was the setting of the marriage of
Eileen Schwarze, Milwaukee, and Charles Krapf Jr., Hales Corners, on Saturday,
September 3, 1960 at 10:00 o'clock. The Rev. Aloyus Madic officiated at the
ceremony. Mrs. Frank Lamovec was organist and the church choir sang "Ave Maria"
and "On This Day." The altar was decorated with white gladiolas.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze, Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf Sr., Greenwood.
The bride, entering the church on the arm of her father, wore a gown of
Chantilly lace over satin, styled by a Queen Anne collar trimmed with iridescent
sequins and pearls, long tapered sleeves and the skirt ending in a train. A
small headpiece of tulle with sequin trim held her fingertip veil, which was
enhanced by lace appliques. Her bouquet was comprised of white roses,
chrysanthemums and ivy.
Miss Frances Koschak, a cousin of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
the groom's two sisters, Miss Betty Krapf, Greenwood, and Mrs. Theresa Zorman,
Loyal, and Mrs. Darlene Mitchel, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Rosalie Plautz, Hales
Corners.
They wore white dresses of embossed over taffeta with green, yellow, pink,
orchid and blue trim respectively. Their headpieces were in petal shape with
blusher veils and all carried matching bouquets of carnations and white
feathered mums.
Philip Plautz, Milwaukee, attended the groom as best man. Groomsmen were the
bride's two brothers, Donald Schwarze, Beaver Dam, and Stanley Schwarze,
Greenwood, and Edward Zorman, Loyal, and Paul Plautz, Hales Corners.
A dinner was served to about 300 guests. A reception, supper and dance were held
in the church hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Krapf are both graduates of Greenwood High School. The bride
attended Spencerian Business College and is employed as teletype operator by
Schlitz Brewing Co. of Milwaukee. The groom is employed by the R. Frederic
Trucking Co., Brookfield.
They are making their home at 1211 S. 72nd St., West Allis.
