Shortville (2 Jan 1919)

Guy Cramer and wife and Mr. and Mrs. George Cramer spent Sunday at Ed. Carter’s.

Lulu Carter returned to her school duties in Neillsville Sunday afternoon.

Andrew Short is sick with the flu at this writing and is under the care of Dr. Rath.

Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Winters and Merrille spent Sunday at the H. Wall home.

Albert Kegley’s uncle, an old gentleman from Minnesota, is here for a short visit with them.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. M. Kosmoski Sunday, Dec. 21, a son, and to Mr. and Mrs. Amos Kegley, Dec. 14th, a son, Earl Albert.

Mrs. Walter Bell is on the sick list. Dr. Rath is in attendance.

Lee Christmas is here from Milton Junction, having recently returned from Montana, for a visit at the Stevens’ home.

Arthur Stevens is working for Harry Black.

Ed. Hagie is home after having a siege with the flu at the Neillsville hospital.

Anna Kosmoski is working in the drying plant in Neillsville and staying at D. Taylor’s.

Eva and Vera Stevens and Gladys Winters spent Sunday afternoon with Bernice Irish.

Edith Kegley is on the sick list.

Clyde Savage was down from the woods to spend Christmas with the E. Carter family and at Day Corners.
