On Saturday, June 7, 1958, at a Nuptial High Mass, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, Miss Carolyn Joyce Koci, daughter of Mrs. Julia Koci, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Frank Koci, Milwaukee, became the bride of Francis Anton Kohlnhofer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kohlnhofer, Greenwood. The Rev. Father Edward Hartung, pastor, officiated. The Church Choir sang the Mass. Tall pink daisies and white carnations trimmed the altar.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white floor length gown, scalloped with imported Chantilly lace, with sequins trimming the V-shaped neckline and nylon tulle forming a long torso. Panels of matching lace topped the skirt of ruffled nylon tulle.

Chantilly lace accented the nylon tulle fingertip veil, which was attached to a crown of sequins and pearls. The bride carried candy-striped carnations surrounded by pink roses.

The maid of honor, Miss Sharon McConnell of Greenwood, wore a pale orchid waltz length dress of embroidered nylon organza, the satin cummerbund tied in a huge bow at the back. Her veiled net headpiece was accented with pearls matched her ensemble.

Similarly attired were the bridesmaids – Mrs. Robert Koci, Alexandria, Va., and Miss Barbara Zebrowski, Milwaukee. Each had a floral arrangement.

Attending the groom were Victor Kohlnhofer, Minneapolis, as best man, and Robert Koci, Alexandria, Va., and John Suda, Greenwood. Bernard Kitzhaber ushered.

A noon dinner was served at St. Mary's Hall, as was a 4:30 supper. A reception was held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the home of the bride's mother. A wedding dance was held from 8:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the West Side Hall, Willard.

The bride, who received her education at Greenwood High School and St. Mary's College, Milwaukee, was employed in the latter city by the Schlitz Brewing Company. Her husband graduated from the same high school and at present is farming three miles north of Greenwood, where they will make their home.
