Klinke, Susan M. (Marriage - 1974)

Married in ceremonies at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Pakiz, who are making their home at 316 South main Street in Greenwood.

The former Miss Susan M. Klinke, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Klinke, Rt. 1 Greenwood. She is a 1971 graduate of Greenwood high School and is employed as a nursing assistant at at Marshfield hospital.

The groom, also a Greenwood High School graduate, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Pakiz, Rt. 1 Greenwood. He graduated as well from District One Technical Institute, Eau Claire and is employed by a local construction firm.

A cascade arrangement of yellow roses, white carnations and baby’s breath complimented the bride’s sheer nylon organza gown trimmed with venise lace which also accented the detachable train and three-tiered, elbow length veil.

Bridal attendants were Miss Geri Klinke of Marshfield as maid of honor, Miss Patrice Pakiz of Eau Claire and Miss Janet Klinke of Greenwood as bridesmaids, and the Misses Diane and Judy Klinke of Greenwood as junior bridesmaids. Each wore a mint green dotted Swiss gown flocked with daisies and fashioned with a flared skirt.

Serving as bestman was Denny Pakiz, Greenwood. Groomsmen were James Steffen, Eau Claire, and Terry Plautz, Owen. Ushering duties were shared by Ed Perko, Jr., Eau Claire and James Bayuk, Madison.

A reception was held at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The new Mrs. Pakiz was honored at prenuptial showers given by Miss Patrice Pakiz, Miss Geri Klinke and by her fellow-employees.
