Butler (2 May 1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Altmann and family of Marshfield were weekend guests of the
Arthur Reinekes. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reinke and family of Eau Claire called there
Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence hall of Wisconsin Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Mayenschein and family of Greenwood visited Sunday at the Curt Mayenschein home.
Pam and Gail Andruskiewicz of Thorp spent the weekend there.
Sunday, Mrs. John Kile was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak. In the
afternoon they drove to Stanley and visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rasmussen.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison visited at the Earl Tieman home in Stanley Monday
night.
Mrs. Jerome Tieman and daughter, Denise, of Milwaukee, drove to the Charles
Tieman farm Saturday and picked up Douglas Tieman. He had been visiting his
grandparents for several days.
Mr. and Mrs. David Kile of Thorp visited his mother, Mrs. John Kile, Wednesday
night.
The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer spent several days visiting in northern
Minnesota last week.
Bud Kile of Owen and his mother Mrs. John Kile called on David Kile Sunday
night.
Mrs. Henry Keller of Greenwood spent Thursday with Mrs. Chester Daines.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Conklin visited Mrs. Hugo Kuehl and Mr. Oliver La Flex, who is
in a Marshfield hospital, Thursday. Mr. La Flex returned home Monday.
Mrs. Georgia Collins and Ray attended the wedding of their granddaughter and
niece, Kathleen Wavrunek, when she became the bride of Arnold Pichler of Eau
Claire, at Neillsville Saturday.
Mrs. Lottie Morrison and Mrs. Lillian Krueger of Willard visited Mrs. Georgia
Collins Sunday. Albert Morrison also called there.
This neighborhood was saddened last week by the death of Robert Ondal of
Stanley. Although he had never lived here, his mother was born and raised here
so he was very well known and liked. Several from this area attended the funeral
at Stanley Friday. He was buried in the Butler Cemetery.
