Grabowski, Victoria Mae (4 JUL 1970)

Victoria Mae Grabowski of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Grabowski of Gilman, and Victor Gray, Rt. 1, Chili (Clark Co.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gray of Chili, exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, July 4, 1970, at a 1:30 service in the United Methodist Church of Chili.

Officiating at the ceremony was Rev. L.L. McCormick.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Processional and recessional was played by Mrs. Helen Grimm of Chili. Soloist was Sherman Sleper of Iowa, and his accompanist was Mrs. Kathleen Gray of Iowa.

The bride wore a white floor length bridal gown in the Edwardian style of imported rayon organza with Venetian lace and pink satin ribbon trim, with large puffed sleeves and detachable Watteau train. Her veil was of English illusion, with matching Venetian lace Camelot with pink ribbon. She carried white bridal roses and pink daisies in crescent form.

The maid of honor was Miss Patricia Grabowski of Eau Claire, and her bridesmaids were Miss Julia Lato of Loyal and Miss Jeannie Immerfall of Marshfield.

They were seen in floor length gowns of pink georgette and Chantilly lace with Venetian lace trim. They wore matching pink flower petal covered Camelot headpieces with small veils. They held wicker baskets of cascading pink daisies.

The best man was Douglas Gray of Chili, and the groomsmen were John Grabowski of Milwaukee and Harland Schultz of Marshfield.

Ushers were Randy Gray of Chili and Tony Grabowski of Milwaukee.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Koolmo's Ballroom in Gilman, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Gilman High School and a 1968 graduate of WSU – Stevens Point. She is employed at Spencer High School.

Her husband is a 1963 graduate of Marshfield High School and is an agent for Banker's Life and Casualty Co.

After returning from a 7-day wedding trip at Isle Royale, the couple will reside at Rt. 1, Loyal.
