Harry Wendell Palmer was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Palmer on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Miss Katherine Austin came home yesterday from Washington, D.C., to spend an
18-day vacation with her parents.
Mrs. George Zimmer was called to Bismarck, N.D., Tuesday by the very serious
illness of her sister, Clara Seif.
Mrs. Charlotte Smith, who has been visiting her son, W.L. Smith, and family,
went to Eau Claire Tuesday to spend a short time.
George S. Tidd of Marshal, Mich., spent Sunday here at the home of Dr. and Mrs.
Brooks. He was on his way home from a trip to Alberta, Canada.
Mrs. Albert Huber and daughter Rose of Poplar, Mont., arrived here Saturday for
a visit with her mother, Mrs. Anna Neis. On Monday, Mrs. Huber went to Chippewa
Falls, where she will spend a few weeks in a hospital taking treatment.
A night class in typewriting and stenography may be opened by Miss Frisbie, the
commercial teacher at the high school, and all persons who are interested are
requested to meet at the high school next Monday evening at 7:30.
Chas. Kapka and Mrs. I.H. Lowe returned Tuesday from Stockton, Cal., where they
were called to attend the funeral of Mr. Kapka’s wife. Mr. Kapka’s little
daughter is still quite sick and it was not thought advisable to bring her home
at this time.
