Zuber, Frank W. (27 August 1925 - 2 September 2015) With Flag

Frank W. Zuber, “Cowboy Frank,” age 90, of Lublin, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2015, at Linden Grove Nursing Home in Waukesha, WI, where he resided with his wife and close to his family.

Frank was born on August 27, 1925, in Lublin, WI, where he was raised, received his education, and farmed his whole life.

He and his wife, Mickie, were active members of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church of Lublin, and he was also a 55-year member of the American Legion Post #547 (US Navy WWII Veteran).

Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha “Mickie” Zuber; his children: Rena Zuber, Debbie Sweet, and Brian (Tara) Zuber. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister, Lori.

Frank was met in heaven with a smile and hug from his son Bruce, who preceded him.

Frank loved his family, his country, where he lived and what he did.

A Memorial Celebration was held on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the American Legion Post #547 in Lublin. The family requests that memorials be given in Frank’s honor to the American Legion Post 547, W 13315 South Street, Lublin, WI 54447.

Frank will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
