Greenwood (14 February 1974)

Miss Kathy Ellingson and Miss Connie Wheetley of Elmhurst, Il., spent from Friday until Monday with the former’s grandmother, Mrs. Louise Ellingson.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heiking of Loyal visited Sunday in Marshfield at the Ed Federwitz home.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ellingson and son, Tom, of La Crosse, spent the weekend with their parents, Mrs. Louise Ellingson and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hohl.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Karlen of Stanley were guests Sunday of her mother, Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth.

Miss Karol Ann Ellingson and her fiancé, Michael Silerzio, of Elmhurst, Il., visited recently at the home of her grandmother, Mr. Louise Ellingson.

Miss Ritajean Carteron of Chicago arrived Tuesday evening to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lamovec spent Sunday at the James Anderson home in Eau Claire. Other guests were their sons, Allen Lamovec of Bloomington, Mn; and Henry Lamovec, Jr., of Eau Claire and his fiancée Miss Jane Buffington.

Hugh Christie has been dismissed from the hospital in Marshfield.

Keith Stewart returned to Middleton after spending several days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.

Darlene Jones, daughter of Mrs. Beatrice Jones, was admitted Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schwarze are spending a week in Milwaukee at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Olsen.

Thursday visitors at the home of Mrs. Alice Speich were Mrs. Elsie Steele and Ben Marquardt of Spencer.

Robert Stewart of Stanley spent Monday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.

Mr. and Mrs. William Kavanaugh have returned after spending several weeks with their son, James, in Tucson, Ariz.; and spent some time in Phoenix, Ariz., and Brownsville, Tex. They have sold their home in Greenwood and plan to move to Brownsville.
