The Abbotsford Commercial Club is sponsoring a victory dance at the armory tonight, for the benefit of boys in service and the Veterans Advisory Committee. Refreshments are being served by the Auxiliary to our boys in service.

Among the rural schools in this vicinity that will reopen Monday are: Clovernook, with Miss Marge Thompson as teacher; Rosedale, Miss Lucinanne Christ; Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Robert Bogaard as principal and Miss Margaret Daellenbach as primary teacher.

Allan V. Brown, who purchased the Coffee Shop, took over Monday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. John Hutt have moved from the Coffee Shop to their home at the intersection of Highways 29 and 13.

Nine tables were in play at the card party, sponsored by the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sunday night at the Royal Neighbor hall. High scores were won by Mrs. Clarence Anderson and William Bogaard, second high by Mrs. William Bogaard and Henry Voightlander. The door prize was won by Mrs. Ervin Bitter. The next card party will be Sept. 9.

Miss Margaret Waldhart resigned her position at the White House plant Saturday.
