Sternitzky, Edna (14 August 1898 - 15 January 1974)

A lifelong resident of the Town of Lynn, Mrs. Leo Sternitzky, 75, of Rt. 1 Granton, died January 15 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville with the Rev. Kenneth Petersen officiating. Interment was in the Lynn Cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral home at Granton was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sternitzky, the former Edna Jensen, was born August 14, 1898, in the Town of Lynn and received her education there. Her marriage to Leo Sternitzky took place March 28, 1917, at Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville, and lived on a farm in the Town of Lynn since her marriage.

She is survived by her husband; by one son, Gerald, of Loyal; by a sister, Mrs. Alfred Riedel, Granton; and by five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Wesley Todd, Ray Barth, Ernest Sternitzky, Eldon Helm, Ralph Riedel and Walter Helm. Mrs. Earl Meisner was the organist and Mrs. Lawrence Dix and Mrs. Alvin Ott, vocalists.
