Buchholz, Anita (24 AUG 1968)

The marriage of Guy Dunow and Miss Anita Buchholz, daughter of August Buchholz, all of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), took place Saturday, Aug. 24, 1968, in a 3 p.m. ceremony at St. Paul's American Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Roger Tellock officiated at the services. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. John Strassburger, Curtiss, friends.

Music during the ceremony was provided by organist Rhonda Mattson, who played the Wedding March, and soloist, Bruce Klocke, singing "Wedding Prayer" and "The Lord's Prayer." Garden flowers of mixed gladiolas decorated the altar.

The bride chose a two piece off white lace street length dress. She wore a white veil hat, white lace gloves and white shoes to complete the ensemble, and carried a corsage of red roses and white carnations.

The matron of honor wore a white lace dress over a mint green slip. Her accessories were a mint green lace hat, white lace gloves and white shoes. Her corsage was of pink roses and white carnations.

Following the ceremony, a reception and supper were held at the Curtiss Village Hall for about 150 guests. Dancing followed at the village hall.

Following a wedding trip to Dubuque, Iowa, the couple will be making their home at Curtiss. The bride is employed as domestic and help, and the groom works at North Central Dairymen's Cooperative.

Wedding guests came from Chicago, Cornell, Holcombe, Colby, Abbotsford, Medford, Owen, Tomah and the Curtiss area.
