Butler (20 December 1973)

Clarence Butler was seriously hurt in a truck accident last week. He is a patient in Memorial Hospital at Neillsville. His daughters, Mrs. Sally Janesich of Greentown, In.; and Mrs. Nancy Castro, of Chicago, Il., were called home by the seriousness of his condition. They stayed at the Curt Mayenschein home and returned to their homes Monday. At the latest report, Mr. Butler’s condition is improving and he should be home in a few weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver la Flex and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lindner visited Clarence Butler in the hospital at Neillsville Saturday.

Jerry Bizjak and sons of Wausau spent the weekend at the John Bizjak home.

Mrs. Jack Conklin accompanied Mrs. Sylvia Winterer to Marshfield Tuesday to visit Mrs. Hugo Kuehl, who is a patient in the hospital there.

Mr. and Mrs. David Kile, Sr., of Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. David Kile, Jr., and daughter, Gretchen, of Appleton, were dinner guests at the John Kile home Sunday.

Brian Daines of Thorp, spent the weekend with his grandmother, Mrs. Chester Daines.

Mrs. Bud Kile of Owen and Mrs. John Kile were in Marshfield Satruday. They visited Mrs. Hugo Kuehl at the hospital.

Fred Burrington spent the weekend in Tomah.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Irish and son, Eddie John, attended a wedding at Grays Lake, Il., on Saturday. Mr. Irish’s brother was married and Eddie John was part of the wedding party. He was the ringbearer.

The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer called on Mrs. Hugo Kuehl at the hospital in Marshfield last week Wednesday.

The Rev. and Mrs. Le Roy Gross were guests Tuesday evening of last week at the Palmer home.
