Iffland, Mary (9 May 1893- 4 December 1973)

Note: Birth date taken from Mentor Cemetery listing

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Methodist Church in Humbird by Rev. Otas Botts for Mrs. Mary Laffe Iffland, 80, who died December 4 in Neillsville. She has been in failing health for some time. Burial was made in Mentor Cemetery.

Mrs. Iffland was a resident here in her girlhood and received her education in the local public school. After her marriage to Hugh Iffland they moved to New London, where they lived until the time of his death, several years ago. She is survived by a brother, Henry Laffe, of Humbird; a sister, Mrs. Emma Haag of Melrose; and by several nieces and nephews.

Among those from out-of-town who attended the services were: Mrs. Emma Haag and Leonard of Melrose; Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Laffe and daughter, Montezuma, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wold and John of Disco; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sutton, Merrillan; Mrs. Esther Haugstad, Black River Falls; and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Laffe.
