Tioga (17 Oct 1918)

W.E. Palms has moved his goods into the rented store building.

O. Olson has been painting the W.E. Palms & Co. store and it is a great improvement.

August Beiler autoed over from Chili Saturday afternoon.

Adelia Church and Vera Slover spent Friday night with Mrs. John Swanson.

W.A. Bedell and Mrs. Swanson and daughter Helen drove to Fairchild Saturday.

Adelia Church entertained company Saturday for supper.

J. Ripplinger and family visited at the Palms’ home Sunday.

Vera Slover returned to her home in Chili Saturday evening.

A few of the young folks spent Saturday evening at the Swanson home.

W. Bedell went to Greenwood Monday.

Andrew Wightman was a Tioga caller Sunday.

There was a misunderstanding concerning the quilt blocks given by Mrs. J. Seif to the Red Cross. Mrs. Ellis Jacklin gave the blocks and Mrs. Seif gave material to set them together.
