South Pine Valley (10 Oct 1918)

Herman Schmidt, Jr., arrived here recently for a visit with his parents.

Last Saturday the people of this neighborhood assisted Chas. Kiep in moving his household goods from the depot to the Markham farm, which he recently purchased.

Leland Bandelow, who has been ill for a few days, is able to be in school again.

Louise Naedler spent Sunday in Neillsville.

Clyde Savage spent Sunday afternoon at the Munson home.

Mrs. Frank Plummer is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eggeman.

A farewell party was given last Wednesday evening in honor of the Epp family, who are moving to their new home east of Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wilke visited at the Dahnert home Sunday.

Mr. Eggeman lost a valuable cow last week.

James Worden returned to Oxford Tuesday after a several weeks stay with his brother, Charles.

Louise and Mabel Broiher spent Sunday at Hartung’s.

Chas. Kiep motored to Grand Rapids to bring back his family, who have been visiting there the past few days.
