Approximately fifty-six persons of a class which numbered ninety-two gathered at the Meadowview Country Club on July 2, 1966 to renew former acquaintances.

Earlier in the day there had been a tour of the new school, followed by a Kiddie hour.

With Robert Johnson, senior class president, acting as emcee, the program got underway with each class member relating the highlights of his years since graduation. During the program it became apparent that the upper Midwest still held a vast majority of these former students. Most of them now reside in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, or the Twin Cities area. Gerald Cerven won a prize for traveling the furthest distance; he lives in Aurora, Colo.

Everyone remembered certain moments from his high school days at O-W, as Patrick Leahy read the class history and Carol Wagner read the class prophecy.

Jerry and Betty Jean Prepeluh received a prize for being the most recently married couple. Jeanette (Bakken) Anderson was the newest mother present at the reunion; her daughters is five weeks old. Robert Missling was the male class member with the least amount of hair; a prize was given to Patricia (Tytor) Smith for having the child with the longest middle name.

Mrs. Dan Decker, class advisor, gave a short talk relating her activities since 1961, and also about the circumstances surrounding the committee for the reunion. Everyone present appreciated the committee's efforts, as was evidenced by a rousing ovation. Members of the reunion committee were Patricia (Dums) Utteck, Mary (Cattanach) Dorn, Jane (Sttrohkirch) Becker, Lana (Will) Ciszewski, and Sally (Hardrath) Weiler.

A good time was had by all, so much so that it was decided to hold another reunion in 1971.
