Mr. and Mrs. Guy Cramer are visiting relatives in the southern part of the state.

Miss Edith Kegley is enjoying a visit from her friend, Miss Webster, of Union Center.

Vern Kegley returned to Hillsboro Friday after a few days’ visit at home. Silo filling seems to be the order of the day just now.

Bernice Irish spent a few days in Neillsville last week and attended the fair.

Lulu Carter is attending school in Neillsville this year.

Mrs. Walter Bell and Ella Brown will entertain the Ladies Aid at James A. Short’s Sept. 19 (Thursday).

Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Wilding left for Tripoli Monday where Arthur is building a house for Will Winters. Mrs. Wilding will assist Mrs. Winters in the post office this winter.

Amos Kegley is at Withee with the Home Guard at this writing.

Mrs. M. Ayers of Neillsville is visiting her son, Jay.

Ed. Carter is building a new granary.

Miss Myrtle Ottow visited at Matheson’s at Neillsville a few days the past week and attended the fair.

This Week
Weston’s exhibit at the county fair took second premium.

Quite a number from here drove to Withee Saturday to see what the Home Guard could do in the Krueger case.

Mrs. Della Armitage helped Mrs. C.P. Parks at the American restaurant during the fair.

Will Hannah has rented his farm, the man taking possession Sept. 15.

George and Ed. Begley, Jr., made three trips to Neillsville Monday with George’s truck, to get all the hogs to market.

Hallie Stockwell is hauling lumber from Neillsville for his new barn.

Mrs. Chas. Hannah is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hurlburt, this week.
