Cattanach, Warren Curtis (7 May 1922 - 25 April 2015) With Flag

Warren Cattanach, 92, of Greenwood died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Warren Curtis Cattanach was born May 7, 1922, in Granton, the son of John Curtis and Clara Martha (Marg) Cattanach. He graduated in 1940. He entered the United States Navy in 1943 as an aviation cadet. He was honorably discharged in 1945 as ensign and pilot. Warren continued to serve in the Naval Reserves until 1956. He was united in marriage Nov. 23, 1946, to Erna Horehled. In November of 1973 they moved to Nashville, TN, and Warren held jobs with numerous companies whose operations involved porcelain enamel. Erna died in February of 1985. He retired in 1990, but continued living in Tennessee. In May of 2010, he moved to Greenwood.

Warren enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes, playing cards and dancing.

He is survived by three children: Dennis (Joyce) Cattanach of St. Louis, MO, Sandra Cattanach of Lanesboro, MN, and Gina (Jerry) Griffen of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eugene Cattanach of Granton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erna.

No funeral services are planned.
