Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Steinke, 61, Janesville, were held Wednesday, Sept. 1, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.). Rev. Leroy Urman officiated at the graveside rites.

Mrs. Steinke was born Esther Bachmeyer. She lived with her parents on a farm in the town of Green Grove prior to her marriage to Herman Steinke. They lived at Medford until the death of Mr. Steinke, when Mrs. Steinke and her children moved to Janesville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Green Grove.

Survivors include one son, Ervin, and one daughter, Pearl, both of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
