The fifty-sixth annual commencement of the Luther Hospital School of Nursing,
Aug. 1, 1965, at Schofield Auditorium, Wis. State University, Eau Claire. Among
the thirty-eight young women presented with pins and diplomas was Jean Swenson (Svenson),
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Swenson, route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
The commencement address was given by Miss Betty Collow, past president of
Wisconsin State Nurses' Association. Following the ceremony, the School of
Nursing faculty honored the new graduates at a delightful reception in the
parlors of the Epiphany Lutheran Church.
