Kromanaker, Judy (Marriage - 29 September 1973)

Miss Judy Kromanaker and SP4 Bradley Lueck repeated wedding vows before the Rev. Raymond Bornbach Saturday, September 29, at 3 p.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hewitt. A reception followed at the Hewitt town hall, and a dance was held that evening at Our Place in Blenker.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kromanaker, Rt. 5 Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lueck, Sr., of Marshfield and formerly of Neillsville, presented their children in marriage.

The bride approached the altar in an empire-style gown fashioned with a Chantilly lace bodice and a lace medallion-trimmed skirt of Tulle over satin flowing into a chapel train. Her illusion veil was secured by a Juliet cap. She carried an arrangement of roses, carnations and baby’s breath.

Matron of honor Mrs. Jean Becker of rural Arpin and bridesmaid Mrs. Laynie Badgerow of West Dundee, Il., were attired in empire-style gowns of purple floral organza. Their flowers were carnations, violets and baby’s breath.

Ernest Becker, rural Arpin, acted as bestman. Groomsman was Richard Badgerow, West Dundee, Il. Marv Konrardy, rural Marshfield, and Gary Kobs, Marshfield, served as ushers.

The organist was Clarice Butkis. Mrs. Helen Swetz and the Misses Jane and Mary Schill were the vocalists.

The bride was honored at a surprise linen shower given by the groom’s mother and sisters, and at a personal shower given by her co-workers.

Both 1971 graduates of Marshfield Senior High School, the newlyweds will live at Hanau, West Germany, where the groom is stationed with the Army Medical Corps. The bride, who also graduated from Mid-State Technical Institute, has been employed as a medical assistant at the Marshfield Clinic. The couple planned a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
