Yost, Mary Marjorie (16 AUG 1969)

Miss Mary Marjorie Yost, route 1, Spencer, and Gerald William Heber, route 3, Marshfield, exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, Aug. 16, 1969 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. The Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiated at the 11 o’clock ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. William Gries and Miss Chris Keyes played and sang for the wedding.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Yost, route 1, Spencer, and Mrs. Virginia Heber, route 3, Marshfield, and Mr. Gerald Hebert, Spencer.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was seen in a white floor length A-line empire bridal peau Chantilly lace gown which was enhanced with a detachable chapel train. The veil was of bouffant illusion set to a forward headpiece of orange blossoms, lace and pearls. She carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses.

Miss Karen Zastrow, Wausau, was the maid of honor; Miss Marge Wright, Marshfield; Miss Becky Mellenthin, Spencer, and Miss Jane Gowey, Milwaukee, were the bridesmaids.

The aides wore empire long sleeve gowns of gerjette. The satin bank on the empire waist was carried through with matching satin bows in the hair and short pouf veils. They each carried one long stemmed red rose.

James Becker, Marshfield, was the best man. Groomsmen were Richard Heber and Larry Pribbernow, Marshfield, and Mike Bauer, Wausau.

Ushers were Barry Yost and Roger Hebert, Spencer.

Dinner was served in the church dining hall followed by an afternoon reception in the Spencer Municipal Hall.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Spencer High School and is employed by Northern Auto Supply, Marshfield.

The groom graduated for the same school, also with the class of 1967, and he is attending the North Central Technical School in Wausau, planning to graduate in January with a degree in Business Administration.

After a wedding trip to an undisclosed location, the couple will make their home in Marshfield.
