Neillsville Locals (26 July 1973)

Mrs. Louis Cardarelle of West Bend spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. Dorothy Karnitz, and also visited with her mother, Mrs. Amy Wren, in Memorial Home. Mrs. Karnitz’s son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Karnitz and son, of Wisconsin Rapids also visited with her and with Mrs. John Karnitz’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rothenburger of rural Neillsville over the weekend.

Mrs. Dorothy Burr and children, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hart and David Bedell visited Mr. and Mrs. James Yule and family in Thorp Sunday.

Richard Paul, Jr., Pamela Kay and Dawn Marie Cram, the three oldest children of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cram of Rt. 2 Neillsville, spent a six-day vacation July 7-12 in Neillsville with their grandmother, Mrs. Antoinette Cream.

Sharp family members gathered Sunday at the home of a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dodte, for a family reunion. Present were Mrs. Dodte’s sisters, Miss Lucille Sharp of Delano, Ca., Mrs. Eva Johannsen of Clearwater, Fl., Their brother and his wife, Dr. and Mrs. Darrell Sharp of Hayward, and a niece, Mrs. Shirley Wold and son, Gary of Minneapolis, Mn. Mrs. Wold, the former Shirley Sharp, lived in Neillsville as a young girl. Miss Sharp, who is enroute home from a three-week tour of Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt and other Arab states, and Mrs. Johannsen, who spent three weeks with the Dodte’s, accompanied their brother and his wife to Hayward for a visit at their home.
