The commencement exercises at the Opera House Friday evening were attended by a large number of parents, relatives and friends, when twenty-five young people received their diplomas.

The following program was rendered:

Salutatory address – Allen Wuethrich
Music
Valedictory address – Mike Kruic
Music
Commencement Address: G.A. Hillier
Presentation of American Legion award & medals – F.G. MacLachlan
Presentation of diplomas – F.G. MacLachlan

G.A. Hillier of the Eau Claire Normal was the speaker of the evening. He interspersed his take with humorous stories and at no time did he resort to written notes. He has a very pleasing personality and an excellent deliverance. He was able to hold his audience to the conclusion of his speech and his talk seemed to meet with approval of all present.

The American Legion awards were presented to Joyce Haeuser and Kenneth Borham.
