Hubbard, Roger R. (11 JAN 1951 - 10 DEC 2014)

Roger R. Hubbard, age 63, formerly of Thorp, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Tomah.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Pastor Scott Johnson will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 12:30 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Military Honors provided by the Lublin American Legion Post #547, Owen American Legion Post #123 and Owen-Withee Vets Club.

Roger was born on January 11, 1951, the son of Allen and Ella (Heiman) Hubbard. He attended the Thorp area schools, graduating in 1969. Roger served in the U. S. Army from 1971-72, stationed in Germany.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Shari Wakefield of Marshfield; his grandson, Devan Wakefield of Seymour, TN; 11 brothers and sisters: Robert (Carol) of Withee, Bonnie Ross of Las Vegas, NV, Sandy (Ken) Engel of Owen, Donna (Joe) Soborowicz of Montverde, FL, Royce (Karla) of Thorp, Barb (Dale) Schulz of Edgar, Bill of Stanley, Earl of Owen, Neil of Fairchild, Ivan of Owen and John (Joy) of Thorp. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
