Brunner, Alexa Lee (Marriage - 26 May 1973)

Married May 26 in a 10:30 a.m. ceremony performed at Holy Rosary Church, Durand, by the Rev. Raymond Schultz of Lima were Miss Alexa Lee Brunner and Dennis Jon Anderegg. A wedding reception was held in the Club 10 dining room.

The new Mrs. Anderegg is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brunner of Rt. 2 Durand. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Edward Anderegg of Rt. 1 Greenwood, and the late Mr. Anderegg.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore an empire-waist gown of candlelight peare de sheen fashioned with full, bouffant sleeves and a wedding band collar trimmed with gaupier lace and baby seed pearls. The detachable chapel-length train was trimmed with matching lace. Her veil was caught by a Juliet cap. A colonial bouquet of a purple orchid, white sweetheart roses and baby’s breath completed her ensemble.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Paul Babiracki, River Falls, and Miss Barb Weiss, Miss Lorrie Weber, Mrs. Jerry Frion, Miss Lovella Steller, Mrs. Vern Geurkink and Miss Dana Draft were the bridesmaids. Their empire-waist pastel gowns were complimented by arrangements of white pompoms, baby’s breath and greens accented by white bows and streamers.

Gerald Anderegg served as bestman. Groomsmen were George Miedziak, Eugene Spiegel, Jerry Frion, James Evanoff, Jeffrey Larson and Ronald Brunner. Ushering duties were shared by Paul Babiracki and Arnold Spindler.

The bride is a graduate of Durand High School and of the Eau Claire Technical Institute. Her husband recently received an associate degree in business administration and is employed by an insurance company. The newlyweds will live on Rt. 1 River Falls.
