Christ Lutheran Church (Ladies Aid - 1973)

The Ladies Aid Society of Christ Lutheran Church met Friday afternoon at the church with Mrs. Leo Roehl as hostess. The meeting was opened with a hymn followed by prayer.

The Rev. Roland Roehrs showed and explained a film strip on the hymn, “Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun.” Afterwards, Rev. Roehrs showed the film strip again and the ladies sang the hymn. Rev. Roehrs also led the topic, “Three R’s of Celebration,” referring to Remembering God’s mercy. Rejoicing in God’s mercy and Reacting to God’s mercy.

Many items were brought to send to the Bethesda home at Watertown, and it was voted to send a monetary gift to the home as well. A thank you letter was read from the Ambassadors for Christ, expressing appreciation for coupons sent to them.
