New Home Economist (1973)

The selection of Miss Mary Ellen Witt as the new Clark County Home Economist was announced that past week, by George Zuehlke, chairman of the Agricultural extension education committee.

Miss Witt will fill the post of Miss Brooks Rector, who resigned her position this past fall to accept a similar position in Iowa, and will replace Mrs. Mary Heinze, a temporary home economist replacement who staffed the program in the interim.

Miss Witt, born in Crivitz and a 1970 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, has had previous experience in teaching home economics for one year in the Neillsville school system as well as serving the past two years at the North Fond du Lac High School.

Miss Witt is expected to begin her duties on June 18.
