Mr. and Mrs. Max Siemek and sons were Sunday guests at the Joe Hargot home in Lublin.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knapp were Sunday evening guests at the E. Stange home in Elder Valley. They helped Mrs. Stange celebrate his birthday.

Mr. Bill Hans and two daughters of Chicago, and Mrs. Sadie Olson of Stanley, were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bion Lamberton.

Dr. and Mrs. B.R. Slota and family of Thorp and Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Slota and Mr. and Mrs. P.L. Paul of Stanley spent Sunday at their cottage at Lake Holcombe. They all enjoyed a sail boat ride in the p.m. on Lake Holcombe.

Mrs. Glen Romig spent Friday afternoon in Sheldon and helped her father, D.L. Pickering, celebrate his birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Eckland of Chicago and Kenny Micke and 2 sons of Thorp were Saturday afternoon callers at the Clarence Micke home.

Miss Gail Dombroski is spending a few days visiting at the Anton Jacques home in Thorp.

Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski spent Sunday in Thorp and helped her sister, Mrs. Clara Ebben, celebrate her birthday.

Edwin Lee and sons of Stanley and Mrs. Nellie Brown of Hannibal were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schultz.

Arvid Granquist is a patient at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

Mrs. Louie Brost and family of Iron River, Wis. spent the weekend with her parents, the Jerry O'Connell's.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Thomas and family of Cudahy spent several days here visiting relatives. Enroute home they were accompanied by the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Williger.

Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Clough of Perkinstown were Saturday guests of her parents, the Arvid Granquist's.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Diers of Milwaukee are spending several days with Mrs. Michael Dietzler.

Dr. Connolly and sons and Dr. and Mrs. B.R. Slota and family of Thorp enjoyed a cook out at the B.L. Slota home Friday.

Gary Liazuk is spending his vacation visiting relatives in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Granquist and family of Fremont are visiting his parents, the Arvid Granquist's.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Micke viewed the remains of the late, Mrs. Helen Rogus, at the Thorp Funeral Home Friday evening. Mrs. Rogus is grandmother of Mrs. Kenny Micke.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Becherer of Colby were Friday visitors at the Clarence Micke home.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Newman of Minneapolis were Saturday p.m. and supper guests at the home of her parents, the Glenn Romig's.
