The Thorp area will be represented in Mount Mary College's Commencement Exercises to be held on Sunday, May 28, 1967, beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Miss Mary Harycki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Harycki of Box 371, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), will receive her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude. A graduate of Thorp High School, Mary majored in English and French while at Mourn Mary. She was elected to Delta Epsilon Sigma, National Scholastic Honor Soeciety and is a member of Sigma Tau Delta, National Professional English Fraternity. Mary was also on the staff of the Quarterly (the college literary magazine). She has been awarded a Graduate Research Assistantship in English at Marquette University. The stipend include $2,620 and tuition remission.
