Forty-two young men were commissioned as officers in the armed forces at the 83rd annual commencement exercises of Marquette University, Sunday, June 4, 1967, at the Milwaukee Arena.

Jerome R. Heiman, 2960 S. 94th St., West Allis, received a bachelor of science in liberal arts degree and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. He has been assigned to Naval Nuclear Power School in California.

Heiman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heiman and grandson of Edward Beller and Mrs. Edith Heiman, both of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
