Services were held Thursday, Dec. 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, for Herbert Firnstahl. St. Mary’s eight grade choir sang at the mass, read by the Rev. John B. Pinion. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery.

Servers included two grandsons, Emanuel Firnstahl and James Firnstahl, Larry Bown, Larry Schmitt and James Umhoefer.

Pallbearers were Bill Hackel, Wilbur Becker, Ervin Meyer, Marce Foster, Dick Aderhold and Homer Smith.

Relatives and friends attending from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Firnstahl, Ramon Firnstahl, Mrs. Donald DiGidio, Mrs. Robert Young, Mrs. Henry Van Leur, Henry Van Leur Jr., James Van Leur, all of St. Paul, Minn.
