Borowiak, Josephine M. ‘Jo’ (26 September 1954 - 21 September 2014)

Josephine M. ‘Jo’ Borowiak, age 59, of Stanley, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at her home. Josephine was born September 26, 1954, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Alex and Josephine Borowiak. On August 31, 2004, she was united in marriage to Robert Cooley at the Abundant Life Church, Thorp.

Josephine is survived by her husband, Robert Cooley of Stanley; children: Alethia Drewniak of Stickney, IL, Thomas Drewniak of Chicago, IL, Raquel Drewniak of Chippewa Falls, Joseph Drewniak of Stanley, Paula Cooley of Eau Claire, Jerry (Jenny) Cooley of Perkinstown; 11 grandchildren; and one sister Connie (Steve) Dylik of Romeoville, IL.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Alex Borowiak; and sister, Lori Davis.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Abundant Life Church, Thorp, with Pastor John Sindler officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Summit, IL. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, and one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday.
