The faculty school picnic is being held this evening in Cherokee Park.

James Vetter has been ill at this home since Tuesday.

Miss Claire Moroney, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Pfc. Robert De Noble left for Appleton Friday afternoon after a week’s visit here at the home of his sister, Mrs. Vern Steffen. He reports to Camp McCoy September 13.

Mrs. Bertha Karsten was called to Greenwood Sunday on account of the illness of her mother, Mrs. Louisa Horn.

Laverne Marcott, Milwaukee, called at the Vern Steffen hone on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Sorenson left Wednesday to return to Burlington after a vacation at Greenwood, Dorchester and Abbotsford.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Harrop, son Jack, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weitzman, Stetsonville, and Elmer Haas visited Mr. Elmer Haas and infant son, James Allan, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday.

E. F. Kuehnast and Ed Pascoe spent Saturday picking blackberries near Fifield.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kozlowski and family spent Sunday at Owen with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kozlowski.
