Weber, Carl Aloysious (12 June 1905 - 25 October 1972)

Carl A. Weber, 67, died at his home October 25. He had been in ill health for some time.

Carl Aloysious Weber, son of Louis and Anna (Waseca) Weber, was born June 12, 1905, at Butternut. He came to Greenwood with his parents when he was two years old and spent most of his life in this area. His first marriage was to Rosane Leherr. She died in 1932. His marriage to Ruth Nicholson took place in Owen in June, 1939. She survives him.

Other survivors include two sons, Lawrence of Milwaukee and David of Marshfield; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Syth and Mrs. Charles (Millie) Herrick of Greenwood and Mrs. Charles (Adeline) Ruthsack of Butternut; and three brothers, Bernard Weber of Bowling Green, Ky., Victor Weber of Waukesha and John Weber of Rio Lunda, Calif.

Funeral services were held October 28 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Leander Koopman officiated. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Norman Mayenschein, Pat Herrick, Jeff Herrick, Ray Newman, Richard Neuman and Kenneth Marvin.
